    Our Control Room is the nerve center of Vermont Sky Digital.  Here is where we take signal from our collection of sophisticated microphones and direct insertion boxes and put it to tape.  At the center of it all is our Yamaha O3D digital mixing console.  This console allows us to mix down 16 tracks of digital audio, as well as an additional 10 inputs from outboard reverbs and effects, MIDI keyboards, samplers and more.  The incredible sound quality of the 03D is enhanced by its efficient footprint, enabling the mix engineer to be in the "sweet spot" at all times.  In addition, each of the 26 inputs of the 03D features a four band fully parametric equalizer, and an incredibly smooth compressor/limiter/gate.  The 03D also features two onboard multi-effects processors, equivalent to Yamaha's REV500.

Our recorders are 20bit ADAT digital multi-tracks.  We monitor through THX approved Mackie HR-828 active loudspeakers.  We mix to Sony's workhorse PCM-R500 Digital Audio Tape (DAT) recorder.  Outboard, we have mic pre amplifiers and compressors by Focusrite, Yamaha and Beringer, EQ by Aphex, and outboard Reverb/Multieffects by Lexicon, Yamaha and Beringer.
