IMPORTANT NOTE :
If you were given an e-mail address ending with .net, rather than the .com
ending used in the example below, use the .net ending in place of the .com.
Use .net to replace .com for the INCOMING and OUTGOING server names, also.
Double click on the OUTLOOK EXPRESS icon.
If the CONNECT TO window appears, click WORK OFFLINE.
Click on TOOLS in the main menu bar (NOTE: If a window pops up here, go to Step 8).
Click on ACCOUNTS in the drop down menu.
Click the MAIL tab in the INTERNET ACCOUNTS window.
Click the ADD button.
Click on MAIL.
Enter the name you wish to appear in the FROM address field when others receive e-mail from you.
Click on NEXT.
(Older Versions) Make sure that YOU ALREADY HAVE AN E-MAIL ADDRESS is dotted.
Enter your e-mail address (Ex. username@kingcon.com).
Click on NEXT.
Your incoming server is a pop3 server.
Enter pop3.kingcon.com in the field for the INCOMING SERVER NAME.
Enter smtp.kingcon.com in the field for the OUTGOING SERVER NAME.
Click on NEXT.
The LOGIN NAME should already show your username (e-mail address without the @kingcon.com after it).
Enter your password in the PASSWORD field.
Click on NEXT.
Click on FINISH.
You should now be back at the INTERNET ACCOUNTS window.
Make sure that your account isHIGHLIGHTED.
Click on PROPERTIES button.
Change the pop3.kingcon.com to your USERNAME in the top field.
Enter your e-mail address in the REPLY TO field near the bottom.
Click on APPLY.
If a box pops up signaling an error, check and correct your entries and click on APPLY again.
Click on the SERVERS tab at the top.
MY [OUTGOING] SERVER REQUIRES AUTHENTICATION (at the bottom) MUST be checked.
Click on APPLY.
Click on OK.
Close the INTERNET ACCOUNTS window.
Click on TOOLS in the main menu bar again.
Click on OPTIONS in the drop down menu.
CHECK FOR NEW MESSAGES EVERY 30 MINUTES should be changed to 5 minutes.
