iMAC Internet Setup Assistant

What you need to get started:

  • An account with "The Kingdom Connection"
  • Your username _____________________
  • Your password _____________________
  • Your Local Call Access number ______________

  1. Open up the Assistants folder.
  2. Double click on the Internet Setup Assistant icon.
  3. Click on Yes.
  4. Click on Yes.
  5. Click the right arrow to continue.
  6. Type Kingdom Connection or Kingcon in the box as a name for this configuration.
  7. Make sure that Modem is checked.
  8. Click the right arrow to continue.
  9. Select the Modem you are using from the drop down list.
  10. Make sure you have the correct Port selected.
  11. Make sure Tone is selected.
  12. Click on the right arrow to continue.
  13. Enter in your Local Call Access number in the space provided.
  14. Enter your username (in the form of your e-mail address) and your password in the spaces provided.
  15. Click on the right arrow to continue.
  16. Make sure that No is checked and click on the right arrow to continue.
  17. There is no IP Configuration so ensure No is selected and click on the right arrow to continue.
  18. No DNS addresses or Domain Name are required, so click the right arrow to continue.
  19. Enter in your email address and your password in the spaces provided and click on the right arrow to continue.
  20. Enter in the POP your username followed by @pop3.kingcon.com (Ex. johndoe@pop3.kingcon.com).
  21. Enter in the SMTP host smtp.kingcon.com.
  22. Click on the right arrow to continue.
  23. (OPTIONAL) Enter in the News address in the space provided and click on the right arrow to continue.
  24. You have now finished configuring your iMAC for connection to the internet. To complete your Internet Settings, click Go Ahead. To connect later, you can either use the Remote Access section of the Control Strip, or you can use the Remote Access Control Panel.
